About The Investigation
WFCG engineers are experienced in a wide variety of structural and civil engineering arenas that allow us to understand, quantify and explain in plain English what the cause and/or mechanism of failure is to a structure. By understanding the engineering principals utilized in the initial design of a structure, we are able to "reverse engineer" the damaged conditions and provide an economically viable solution to the problem to restore the integrity of the asset.

Experience has shown us that damage to a building or facility can be caused by a diverse number of sources including earthquake, hurricane, tornado, heavy rainfall events, foreign debris impact, vehicle damage, inadequate building design, building alterations and modifications, improper foundation design, ground vibrations, nearby construction activities, inadequate site preparation and numerous geologic issues, just to name a few.

We have the education, working knowledge and vast experience to understand these complex issues and to provide the right solution to the problem. WFCG's team of engineers routinely respond to a variety of disasters to provide site investigations, damage documentation, consultation, technical report preparation and expert witness services.
